DONOR TESTIMONIES

Spending time at Spicy Grove—witnessing the growth of the children, the opportunities provided to them and watching them share their testimonies and talents in worship—was deeply touching. The older teens are genuinely grateful for a safe place to gather, while the younger children treasure the warm meal before school, the snack afterward, tutoring sessions, and the use of computers at the center to complete their schoolwork.

If you haven’t had the chance to visit Spicy Grove in person, I hope you can still sense the joy and transformation through the stories and images shared on the website. On my most recent visit, a mother with tears in her eyes

thanked me for giving to Spicy Grove. She shared that her four children have been part of the ministry for over ten years and that it made school and after-school support possible. Seeing them grow and serve the Lord was a joy. One son, now the chef for mission teams, is giving back in a beautiful way.

During a recent visit to Spicy Grove, I had the pleasure of walking the property each day, collecting yard debris and cleaning up while spending time talking with our Father. The time spent in service to the ministry was a gift to myself, as time in prayer and service became a personal reward.

It reminded me that God blesses us in so many ways, and that my small gift of service is nothing compared to the gift of His Son to all believers. The property and the ministry are a work in progress—just like my walk with Jesus. The ministry needs gifts to grow, and I need time to grow in my faith. I am blessed that I could work on the property so that God had time to work in me.
