Today we reflect on a simple but profound instruction of the Apostle Paul in the final chapter of his letter to the Philippians: Rejoice in the Lord always, Again I will say it, rejoice! 4 vs 6. He uses the word rejoice at least 12 times in this love letter, at the expense of being repetitious, "Finally, my brethren rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious , but for you it is safe." 3 vs 1. How do we rejoice when: we lose something or someone dear to our heart, the bills are due and there is no money and life just overwhelms you? Look at your circumstances, choose to be glad and full of joy! Bless the Lord, Praise Him, and give Him thanks in everything! Everyday we have an opportunity to rejoice, we are alive! "This is the day the word has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:2. A we say rejoice!
